Was in a head on collision at a stoplight. Not at fault. Had a tool in the backseat of the truck in a padded savior case.Truck was totaled. Later looked the item over. The arisaka 45 degree mount was loose from the rail, there was some rattle where the takedown pin is on the tool. There was no rattle before the wreck. The brand starts with Lewis. Anyways, the Larue acog mount was still solid as a freaking rock!

I’ve purchase 4 of these LaRue ACOG mounts over the course of about 10 years, my most current in 2024… One for every ACOG I’ve mounted. If I purchase another ACOG, I’ll purchase another LaRue LT100 to mount it with. That should speak to how they’ve performed for me. Absolutely rock-solid.

Larue means quality, and this mount will not disappoint anyone. The right fit for the Acog.

The LaRue LT100 is THE go-to for mounting my ACOG's. I discard the standard mounts from Trijicon as they are bulky, heavy and awkward to attach and detach. Instead, I have purchased many of the LT100’s over the years and never been disappointed. Quality in the design, materials and manufacture is consistent and the best available. The mounts are ‘bomb-proof’ solid to the rifle and the scope while immediately and easily detachable from the rifle if needed.

When I buy a new optic, I get a mount from LaRue. I do not see any reason to even try anything else.

Bought this second mount because the first one was so damn good. Why take your high quality rifle, put on a high quality optics and use a low quality mount? You might cringe initially when you're doing cost comparison, but make the move, buy once cry once and they say and complete your package with a quality LaRue mount. You too will become a believer.

This is my second mount of this type. When I bought an ACOG for my new Ruger SFAR 308, I decided to get one like I had on my Rock River AR-15. Don't know about you, but things are a bit cramped in my 3 gun safes. I remove bolts from bolt guns and optics from everything else to maximize clearance. Every time I remount the ACOG, it returns to zero.
