LaRue RMR Lower 1/3 Mount
The LaRue RMR Lower 1/3 Mount is a quick-detach mount engineered to position the Trijicon RMR at a lower 1/3 co-witness height on standard AR-15 flat-top receivers. A slight cantilever pushes the optic forward for improved eye position while maintaining a compact footprint.
Precision-machined from solid bar-stock aluminum and finished in a matte black anodize, the RMR Lower 1/3 Mount is built for durability, repeatability, and hard use. The LaRue Speed Lever QD system provides a secure lockup with a guaranteed return to zero, allowing the optic to be removed and reinstalled without shift.

RMR Lower 1/3 Mount
I purchased the VFZ because the QD was on backorder, Yes I was the kid who couldn't wait till Christmas. It mounts a Trijicon SRO on a Springfield Saint Edge .556 pistol. The mount is outstanding! Perfect height for comfort and usability of the optic. It will co-witness with the factory flip up sights, however it is at the very bottom of the SRO. A millimeter or two lower would put the co witness in the bottom half to bottom third of the optic. Always a compromise.

Still a little confused by the VFZ mount but that's user error :D LaRue makes top quality mounts, and now I can personally vouch for that statement. Perfect fit with RMR and perfect fit on RIS. Finish and machining are top quality, and it lines up great with my RIS. Just clears my laser unit too. 5/5 product, definitely satisfied.

Finish is great. Quick disconnect is a nice feature. The fact that it returns to zero when reinstalled is even better. Worth the $ If these features matter to you.
