LaRue shipped VERY fast: got it in 25hrs. I already had experience with one on a MOE stock and liked it, so this time I experimented. An hour with various files, a drill, and some sandpaper... now I have a RISR mounted (using all/correct hardware) on a magpul fixed carbine stock. Charging handle has full range of motion. Thanks!

Great product, adds a small amount of rise on the cheek weld on your stock. I was worried about the charging handle not being able to be pulled all the way back. After using it at the range for 150 rounds, it worked perfectly. No problems what so ever. Easy to install, comes with everything you need. Another great product from LaRue.

If you are running the Unity FAST mounts this riser is for you. Allows you to obtain a solid check weld while maintaining your head in a more upright posture. The riser assembly also gives a nice weight to the ass of the gun which helps to counter balance lights, lasers, or suppressors you may have mounted up front.

Donaldlrob, Peachtree Corners, GA I just took delivery of a Wilson Combat AR 5.56/.223 with a Trijicon Red Dot 1x6.(took six months to the day from order to delivery). I was initially trained and qualified EXPERT in the Army on the M-1A1 where the instructors stressed a tight "spot weld" ("cheek weld" now, I guess) for consistency of shot grouping. I later qualified EXPERT with the M-14, M-16, .38 Caliber Pistol, .45 Caliber Pistol, and later still, in flight school, B-Model Huey gunships. I couldn't come close to duplicating my cheek weld with the site on my new AR--the site was too high from my proper cheek weld to reliably use the site. I got a Larue RISR and mounted it to a Magpul stock, and my $4,500 Wilson investment went from being a paper weight to an awesome family protection piece once the last screw was in place. What a transformative product! Y'all have me forever...

Good idea...especially since Magpul risers are impossible to find The instruction card should specify a specific order for the screws, if you start on the wrong end of the stock...the rail bends out of alignment You have to give the CTR a prostate exam while installing, to prevent that

This thing is great. All hardware included as well as loctite. Definitely improves the cheek well, doesn’t rattle at all, and looks good too.
