This is a good product -- very solid, easy to install, and has a factory look/feel. One key point though is it will not work (for me) with a Warne RAMP mount. It is much too high for me, and I'm right at the average height/size for the US. I know it was designed for use with the LaRue mounts, but I thought I'd mention it.

I ordered one of these in OD green to put on a MOE stock. The fit is perfect and installation was a breeze. Also, the color is a perfect match to Magpuls so it looks like it is part of the factory stock. The rifle it went on is an SPR type and the RISR really made a difference in the cheekweld I was able to get.

I bought a pair of these units for our CTR stocks. Fit, finish, and quality are impeccable. Installation is not only easy, but also with outstanding hardware. The spring loaded mechanism is much more robust and solid than the photos would lead one to believe. This is a solidly engineered and manufactured part. IMHO, the is but one issue: There is no adjustability. To me this translates like this: In my case I needed a unit that would allow for a proper cheek weld with an optic mounted on the carry handle, like an ACOG. The RISR gets one another 5/8ths, but a full inch would have been great. The unit is too good to ask for a bunch of ratchets, and floppy plastic parts. Therefore multiple models is the only valid solution. In the meantime, one can get a chin "skrunch-crunch" and make it work, but an option would be better - Finally, I will add that everyone who sees this is going to know "it's something special." In the event one decides to sell, this name isn't going to do anything but help.

I have a Sig M400 5.56 AR with the EOTech Optic Sights. I was having trouble positioning my face correctly to view my sights. I just so happen to come across the LaRue Tactical web sight and I saw the cheek riser they have advertised. I began reading some of the reviews regarding the cheek riser. At that point I began to wonder if this would solve my positioning problem. After searching the web for several months for other products, I did not find anything like what LaRue was offering. So I decide to purchase the cheek riser and Wow!!! was I surprised at the quality of the product and most importantly I well I was able to get my face positioned correctly to few the optic sight with this cheek riser. If you are having problems with your positioning I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

Just got it. Feels top notch....easy install......works as advertised.....slides smoothly and nice cheek weld. Lots of swag came with purchase which is added bonus. I do not foresee any problems with this product.

When I started looking for a riser I was tempted to go with one of the cheaper knockoffs.I said to myself this may have to defend the family one day,so better to have OEM.Super easy install(ten minutes) and flawless function even with stock completely forward.A unique innovation.
