My Son and I love this riser. Perfect for out CTR stock on a Ruger SR-556C with a Vortex Strikefire II. The Troy battle sights alighn perfectly and has increased our shot groups exspodentialy with both iron and red dot.

I had to send mine back. Two reasons : with the RISR installed, it is impossible to use your back up/iron sights. That's all I have on my build so far so that is a no-go. Secondly, when the buttstock is fully collapsed you can not lock the charging handle to the rear. I'm writing this review because these things are not mentioned in the description at all. I think larue makes great products and the extra swag that came with it was awesome. But not mentioning it isn't honest. I Suspect my comment will be taken off but maybe someone will see it first . Thx

A great product from LaRue and a solid riser choice for the CTR stock. Locks up tight and provides a consistent cheek position. LaRue is also nice enough to include a ridiculous amount of free extras. I was half expecting to pull a half rack out of the bottom of the box just so I'd have something to use the Dillo on. Thanks to a company that takes pride in their work and reputation.

What a great product! If you have a CTR, then this is a must have. Very easy to install and comfortable to use. Bonus: when I received my package, I surprised to find all the extras the company sent me. What an awesome company! This was the first purchase I've made with LaRue and certainly won't be my last. My first product from LaRue and will not be my last. This is certainly a must have for your Magpul stock. The Installation was easy, the appearance is awesome, and the functionality is GREAT. Puts me right where I need to be. I am HIGHLY recommending this to anyone who has an AR style rifle. I only wish we could upload photos.

This is one of the BEST check risers I've ever seen!! Brilliant design ... definitely works when CTR stock is collapsed ... absolutely no interference with the charging handle. The other huge plus is the kit, including the Loctite they throw in ... just tremendous. The RISR is a 5-dillo for me!!

Five Dillos for sure! The raised cheek weld allows for a more natural sight alignment with my ACOG, NightForce, and Steiner optics. This provides a more consistent sight picture and therefore better groups at the range and more meat in the freezer. It fits all my MagPul furniture and the color matching is superb on the FDE and OD/Foliage colors. Great job LaRue!

Works great on my POF P415 with a LT-104 and Leupold XR Patrol 1.25-4 optic. Just enough height increase to get a good cheek weld to the stock.
