The LaRue Tactical RISR™ (Reciprocating Inline Stock Riser) is designed for shooters running optics or elevated rail systems who need additional cheek support for consistent sight alignment. Unlike traditional fixed cheek risers that interfere with charging handle travel, the RISR™ features a spring-loaded reciprocating design that moves rearward with the charging handle and automatically returns forward when released.

I cannot see anyone ever using a different riser without being crazy. This is the most practical, well thought out, useful, beneficial designs I've ever come across! A perfect combination of form and function to solve an actual issue, not a problem that doesn't exist so that a company can make money. Thanks La Rue! The RISR places my eye at just the right level when I'm using optics, doesn't require me to fully extend my stock to charge my AR, slides back into place smooth and quick, and installs with basic tools in just a few minutes. Install was so easy I re-read the instructions a few times just to make sure I didn't forget any steps. Originally installed the RISR and the POD on my old MOE stock and did they make it more useful! Currently have them on my CTR and couldn't be happier with the combination :-) As always, great service from La Rue. Now if I can just figure out why they make products in pink but not red...

Another fantastic product from LaRue! As to the RISR itself? Very sturdy. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Loved it so much that I ordered Three more!! Took no more than 5 min's max to install the RISR! I was amazed at how well, how quickly and smoothly it integrated. The construction quality is top notch. Fitment is absolutely perfect. It snaps into place and is not loose and does not rattle. It is extremely easy to install with installation only taking a few minutes with very basic tools. It also performs exactly like you would want it to. It allows for a great cheek weld and places your head in the perfect position for most optics. It works as advertised in all stock positions. It does not get in the way of charging the weapon. It also does not provide any noticeable resistance when operating the charging handle. It snaps back into place quickly and smoothly. It doesn't stick or bind. Thanks LaRue for all of the amazing goodies you sent with it too... It was like Christmas all over again! Amazing product and service. Always my first "go to" guys for any AR stuff that I "need"!

Solution to my problem. May be a little high compared to my bolt gun, but I can figure that out. Installation took 5 minutes. Maybe less.

Works just as advertised, really helps when shooting from the bipod my head aligns perfectly with my scope and noe my groups have shrunk. Nothing less than what I expected from LaRue.

Makes shouldering my AR a breeze. This is the best AR add on since the CTR stock. I have higher cheek placement on all of my rifles. Most of the people I shoot with can operate my rifle with his riser installed without noticing. One really big guy who doesn't run a cheek riser on any of his rifles doesn't like it.
