LaRue RISR™ – Reciprocating Inline Stock Riser

Achieve the perfect cheek weld without sacrificing charging handle access.

The LaRue Tactical RISR™ (Reciprocating Inline Stock Riser) is designed for shooters running optics or elevated rail systems who need additional cheek support for consistent sight alignment. Unlike traditional fixed cheek risers that interfere with charging handle travel, the RISR™ features a spring-loaded reciprocating design that moves rearward with the charging handle and automatically returns forward when released.

This innovative system allows you to maintain a comfortable cheek position while still fully operating your rifle—even with the stock collapsed.

Constructed from durable glass-reinforced polymer, the RISR™ is lightweight, rugged, and built to withstand demanding use in the field. Installation is simple and requires only a few minutes using the included hardware.

Designed specifically to fit Magpul CTR® stocks without modification, the RISR™ provides a reliable solution for shooters seeking improved ergonomics and consistent shooting performance.

Well, I guess I'll add my .02 in here with the ALL the others. First, having done business w/LT since '09 I can say you will NOT find a more reputable company, manufacture, etc. You just won't. And EACH time they make you feel important, as if they REALLY WANT your business. So...THANKS Mark! Ok, on to the CTR "RISR". I wasn't 'looking' for it even when I was browsing LaRue's site. But I knew I needed it when I saw it. I didn't know anyone produced this accessory at all, and I've needed one for my XM15 with the 553 eotech mounted on an A.R.M.S. 'SIR' #M50 rail. I needed that extra 1/2" (or so) for proper cheek weld. I KNEW this would do it...even if I hadn't seen the accompanied pics of the product. The pics just 'sealed the deal.' Mounting it as everyone's already stated, takes virtually no time and the fit and QUALITY (again) are perfect. The bonus: LT had it on sale! Another great product, another great purchase and a CONTINUED satisfied customer. I can't say enough about MY experiences with Mark and Larue Tactical; the whole 'team' is awesome...and it shows: in their products and your experience in dealing with them. You CAN'T go wrong! It's even in Mark's slogan. Thanks Mark/LT! Mark H.

I purchased this riser because it seemed like my Aimpoint PRO on the LT 150 mount was sitting a little high. It installed in nothing flat and fits the CTR stock like a glove. Very happy with the overall fit and finish. It functions flawlessly, the charging handle doesn't seem to require any additional force to operate the weapon and move the upper section of the riser. Works great in any stock position.

Installed on my Magpul MOE. I have a Burris AR-536 mounted on a carry handle. Although the RISR does not make up for the height needed it does fill in some of the space because it is wider than the MOE was without it and the RISR functions flawlessly. Larue Tactical makes awesome products.

I have a Burris FastFire III mounted on my carry handle. I was hoping this riser would be high enough to provide me an adequate cheek weld. It didn't, as I still have to raise my cheek from the stock to use my FF III. It would be nice if it was offered in different heights, as it works very well...just not for my intended application. But I am sure it will find a home on one of my rifles, as I am always trying new mounts and optics. If the height is right for your application then I would highly recommend it as it is an excellent product.

I bought this to address a slightly different issue than the product is intended to solve. I have an SR25 with an A2 stock that has a Vortex Razor HD in a Bobro mount. The scope sits pretty high for a good cheek weld. I had made a diy kydex riser but that looked quite terrible and wasn't ever really a good solution. On a whim I ordered the RISR. It just does fit over the A2 stock and was easy to find a good position to get a good weld and allow the charging handle to reciprocate it fine. I screwed it directly to the A2 with some stainless steel screws, noting that if too tight, they would cause the RISR to flex and bind the sliding cheek piece. All I need to do is add a piece of moleskin and it will be perfect. Note: depending on your srew lenght, they may bite into the outside of the bugger tube, preventing the stock from sliding off. Keep this in mind.
