This is definitely the best riser on the market! A lot of the others need to have the stock ran in a very extended position to work. Seems very well made, and actually comes with extra hardware. Larue does it right

If you are used to shooting with an elevated optic, you are probably accustomed to keeping a heads-up and upright posture. This cheek riser, for all of its benefits, will impact the way you present your rifle. Due to the width of the RISR, head position for a right-handed shooter is forced to the left (inboard), requiring the operator to slightly cant their head right (outboard) in order to align the optic with their eyeline. Not a huge deal, but when training weapon presentation, it will be necessary to re-train head position. After a few days of reps I found this to not be a huge issue. The place where the RISR shines is in in the prone, especially with the higher Unity or Scalarworks risers (or KAC Skyscraper if you're gucci). Finding the dot or the reticle is much easier with this thing installed, so much so I think it should be a mandatory piece of kit if you anticipate any prone or non-traditional shooting positions. The ONLY 2 things I would change: 1. Make it QD. I'm not an engineer so I don't assume to know what that would entail. However, I'd like to not have this on my rifle when I'm in a structure but I'd like to be able to "snap" it on if I need it. NOBODY has brought that to market. 2. Find a way to make it fit more than the CTR. The BCM Gunfighter would be great, I didn't like taking mine off for a CTR, even though it's a great stock. All in all, it's made exceptionally well. I'll definitely buy more.

This is a fantastic product that solves a real world issue. Not only is it functional but aesthetically pleasing. The only thing that I could think that would make this better in the least would be to sell additional comb heights that could be adjusted. This is absolutely worth the price and the quality is top notch.

Quality product. Everything lined up easily. Spring works well, no slop. Put this on my buttstock to maintain proper cheek weld with a 1.70 height scope mount. This allows me to get LPVO high enough to clear PEQ-15 and not be forced to use less than ideal chin weld, this product got me there. The blue loctite provided didn’t come out well, used my own.

This is a must have item when you convert your AK47 to an AR15 stock system! All AK47s have a cheek weld issue when a red dot or other aftermarket sight is installed, this RISER is perfect for getting the cheek weld you need! I am going to buy another one for my other converted AK47, this is sold and much better than those clip on risers!!
