I'm not a wealthy man but I carry weapons as my profession and understand sitting behind an optic for an extended period of time. larue is giving these this away at it's current price. All quality no compromise and it just works.

I recently received my LaRue Tactical RISR. I was able to install it fairly quickly and easily on my stock by removing the butt pad and inserting the tapped bolt plates. It fit onto my stock very securely, even before being bolted into place. As soon as I put my cheek to the RISR I noticed a significant difference and the benefit to how my eye was instantly in the center line of my iron sights. I typically have to adjust my head level, but the RISR makes it easy and does the work for you! The reciprocating riser will need to be worn-in for ease of sliding (time, lubrication, and reciprocation). I'm really looking forward to my next range visit to see how this affects my sight picture acquisition and shots on target. Also, thanks for the extra swag in the box, love stickers and bottle openers!

Great riser, especially at the sale price. The reciprocating portion isn't necessary for an AR-15 pattern rifle if the stock is all the way to the rear, but does come into play on an AR-10 platform with a longer charging handle and charging cycle. Have only used this for one outing but would buy again.

The install of the risr on my MOE stock was quite easy and effective. The engineering of this product was top notch, and the foresight to accommodate mobility for the charging handle was impressive. Great product and I look forward to using it extensively in my rifle.

bought it to put on my wife's rifle to help her with cheek wield while stock was collapsed. she liked the way it helped but the function of the RISR didn't work for her dainty arms to pull back CH and RISR. Function and Fit 10 out of 10. Usefulness 5 out of 10

This thing is super cool. I am very impressed by how well made it is and the ingenuity behind it. FDE matched up well also. I will say, and this is no fault of any one but myself, I tried it on a flat top AR-10 with a 1.4" mount and the riser was too tall for my face to line up correctly. I am saving it though for an opportunity to put it to use, perhaps I need an OBR. Anyways shipping was fast, product is very nice, I love LarRue.

The RISR is PERFECT except one thing. It's sliding motion is just too tight making it much tougher to cycle the rifle. I'm hoping this smooths out and I can enjoy this for years to come.

Saying these are great is a huge understatement! I purchased three of them in various colors to do some custom mix-matching of the parts on two different stocks. Really great for the person who wants a higher cheek weld, has a tall optic mount, or really likes to bury their cheek into the stock. If I needed another one, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase!
