This is a fantastic mount. Built with LaRue quality as always. This is my 3rd LaRue mount that I own and can’t imagine using anything else. Both of my LaRue mount’s are holding Primary Arms SLX 1X micro prism and Primary Arms micro 3x magnifier. My 3rd LaRue mount is holding a Trijicon ACOG. Thanks LaRue for making great products.

Excellent mount design, far superior in my opinion to the factory flip-to-side mount that comes with current EOTech magnifiers. If you're not using the Unity FTC mount then you should be using this mount.

Bought this mount to place the tried and true EOTech G33 behind an XPS3-2 HWS. Being as I'm a left handed shooter the stock EOTech mount left something to be desired as regards the dimensions of the locking lever. I wouldn't say the LaRue completely fixes it (hence the single armadillo taken off) but it's better. Honestly even if the lever situation were the same I'd prefer it to the EOTech mount simply because it throws the G33 only 45 degrees which keeps the envelope of the rifle in tighter, you have less mass cantilevered off to the side etc.The cam'd into a hard detent is both blessing and curse. Blessing because it simply cannot be knocked in our out by accident, curse because it's certainly harder to flip on the fly. I'd like to suggest that you could maybe evaluate the design to put the cam notch on both sides and make the spring design reversible so that lefties can pull as well rather than have to push. That said the side of the mount provides a pretty large metal area that allows your trigger hand thumb to press in on while you wrap your fingers up and over, it's not the worst. Finally to the feller who ripped the whole mount apart because he couldn't cam it over. No insult intended but honestly you're building your own AR and you can't intuit how the mount works?! The detent is fully visible; in fact I'm pushing my review back to 5 stars simply to offset your unfair negative rating. PS - Thanks for the constitution, I dunno why but now I've got a hankering for some beans and...hay.

Product works perfectly although initially I wasn't aware that you need to push the sight forward or back before tilting but that was my fault. The reason for the perfect rating is what also came in the box, a full copy of the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Very simple to use with a G33 magnifier... Lines up perfectly with EXPS3-0, easy to install/remove with one hand, and locks into place (unlike the Eotech switch-to-side magnifier mount which can get knocked out of place unintentionally). Takes up slightly more rail space than the Eotech mount, so I had to move my EXPS3 forward a notch or two... no big deal. It's possible the larger footprint might affect "eye relief" if combining a BUIS at the back of the receiver rail with a shorter magnifier like the G43. Similarly, if the mount is too close to the charging handle to improve "eye relief", the QD lever could interfere slightly with left-hand charging. This mount works great with a G33 over BUIS for me though! Eye relief and access to charging handle is perfect.

Used this on my eotech g30. Works awesome just qualified with it. Highly recommend for use with an eotech exps3 also. Ease of use to switch between 4x and 1x magnification. Practice for 10 minutes pulling back and locking to the side and then vice versa and you will have no issues using this mount. QD for removal is also a huge positive. Happy someone recommended it to me!

Love the mount! Instructions were lacking though. Had to go on line to figure it out. However, I tried before it was mounted & that’s a tough spring. Like I said, great product!

Just arrived. Built like a tank BUT built like a tank. Bought since Footprint is more user friendly for left-handed shooter's BUT the action spring is TOO stiff. Almost impossible to flip one handed so not as useful after all UNLESS there is a way to loosen the tension just a little to make flip/tilt action more applicable.

This is an update to my previous review. I bought this Mount and in my excitement I ended up disassembling it. I was angry about the lack of instructions. Larue took it back and made it like new. Their customer service is outstanding and this is a solid, exceptional mount.
