Mark, Thank you for making this product. I mounted this on a Desert Tech Trek-22 to share the joy of plinking with my young daughters. This setup provided the best overall fitment and safety that I could devise for new young shooters. I do not want to introduce any device that requires batteries. The C-Note is the best tool I could find to help develop a stable rifle platform while simultaneously getting the girls comfortable with a notched pistol sight. I also mounted the bipod backward to prevent little hands (and fingers) from flagging themselves. Mark, I wish you could experience the weird stares we get at the range firsthand for this purpose-built fundamental-focused tool. I’m excited to update this review when my girls’ hands grow large (and strong) enough to work the hammer on a 617. Then I will provide a full report on how well the C-Note helped with the safe transition to pistols. Full disclosure, I have been known to drop a Sig Romeo5 on the rail at the end of our plinking sessions and they enjoy that very much 😉. My mother used to own a Navion Range Master (21D). Early in my flying career, I was fortunate to have a client at KDVT that had a “Hydraulic Beast”. I always enjoyed the privilege of signing off his 61.58. The Navion is a very fun and solid GA aircraft!

Very nice sight setup. Beautiful machining and much lighter than it looks. I don't know how he can sell these for $100, there's obviously quite a bit of work that goes into these. As far as mounting and use, I don't know about it for an AR, but if you have a firearm with only a short section of rail on the receiver and want to run iron sights instead of a red dot, this is the way to go. Granted, I know that guns with no factory irons and a short rail section is going to be a short list, but this worked great for me. 4 armadillos instead of 5 because while I was able to get the sight to zero, some kind of windage adjustment would be nice. Even if it's just different rear sight inserts with the notch cut offset to get it dialed in. A ghost ring or peep sight option would be very cool as well. But overall, I'm very happy with it.
