Picatinny Riser
I'm using the QD LT-101 to attach my Burris Eliminator III to my SCAR 17S and so far I'm really pleased! Returns to zero without issue and seems to handle the recoil of the .308 pretty well. Will update if any issues arise but in LaRue I trust :)

I bought this QD mount to fix a Burris Eliminator III 3-12x44 Laser Scope onto a FN SCAR 17S and so far I'm very pleased! I was able to get proper return to zero and no issue whatsoever zeroing the rifle.

I used this mount for an aiming laser that didn't have its own QD mounts. Far more convenient than using a screwdriver when taking the rifle out of or putting it in the case. (Laser has to come off to fit properly.) The mount does exactly what it is meant to do: Be easy to use, mount solidly and easily, and reliably return to zero every time it's taken off and put back on. I use this mount exclusively with "in spec" picatinny rails and accessories and it works perfectly in this application.

Apparently this isn't meant to mount optics on. I wanted to use this to keep my 44mm scope on my ar-10 high enough that I could keep my flip up sights on. I was hitting about 3 feet to left, with my windage as far possible to the right. I took the riser off, mounted the scope directly tornado on gun, and with just a few minutes of tweeking I was at 1-1.5" groups. I called to talk about it and was told that the riser isn't meant for optics. I didn't see that anywhere in the description of the product. I've had it too long, and I used it, so no return option. I've made 4 purchases with Larue and this is the only one that wasn't excellent, it was actually a total disappointment. I'm sure this product can have many purposes, but apparently mounting optics isn't one.
