MBT 2-Stage AR Triggers

Been waiting a few years to write this review. I own two premium AR triggers, the larue MBT 2S and the big SSA-E. My MBT lives in a 13.9 thats suppressed, my SSA-E live in a 308 ar10. While I believe the MBT feels like a better trigger than the SSA-E¦.. trigger feel can be subjective. What’s entirely OBJECTIVE, is the quality of this trigger. I removed it from my rifle for a deep clean after roughly 10,000 rounds suppressed……. Literally no wear on any trigger components, even the hammer face while polished is still black. The SSA-E on the other hand looks used and abused¦.. in a rifle with less than 1000 rounds. IMO any serious use rifle should have an MBT and nothing else.

I installed the trigger this afternoon, and it works very well. I used the 6lb spring, and I'm glad I did. It felt very light compared to the factory trigger. The 4lb would have been too light for a defensive weapon IMO. I had no difficulty until the hammer pin installation.....but it was much easier than a "G" trigger. With those, you have to fight with the hammer and the disconnector.

I installed the LaRue Tactical MBT-2S Trigger in a recent build and was pleasantly surprised. I've used Geissele triggers in other builds, and to be completely honest, the Larue is on par with the G triggers. I liked it so much, I purchased another trigger for a budget build that I completed a few years ago. I'm not saying that I'm completely leaving Geissele for Larue, but I'll consider them in the future. If the price for a Geissele is a concern of if you just want a damn good trigger, Larue is definitely a good choice

You get the same performance a s a geissele or some other high dollar trigger for just under half their prices. I can promise you will really like if not love this trigger. Very little take up, crisp wall and nice firm break. No mushiness in the pull at all. And although the product says 4.5 LBs break I would say it’s closer to 4 LBs flat just off of feel. Incredible trigger. I got the flat face and I love it.

Been a long time Larue fan, have used their rails for over 15 years. Can't say enough for their attention to detail And quality. So when I saw these triggers on sale for black Friday I purchased one. Installing was a breeze and fit and finish appear to be fantastic. Then .........I felt the trigger and reset. Oh my goodness...........It felt sinful it was so good. No creep, clean break and beautiful short reset. I immediately purchased another which was a mistake. I should have purchased two more! My go to over more expensive options that don't perform much better but cost two to three times more.

Great trigger, by far the best I've bought even better than the more pricier ones. 4.5 lb trigger break, install was easy, instructions were thorough and easy to follow with video tutorial off YouTube.... Would definitely recommend and buy again if need be..
