The LaRue TranQuilo 7.62 Muzzle Brake/Adapter is precision-machined from durable 17-4 PH stainless steel for exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance in demanding environments.
Designed to work seamlessly with the LaRue TranQuilo suppressor, this adapter also functions as an effective standalone muzzle brake, helping reduce recoil and improve shooting control. Its patented dual-shouldered mounting system ensures perfect alignment with the bore, promoting consistent accuracy while preventing gas from escaping rearward into the suppressor threads. This keeps attachment points cleaner and reduces carbon buildup during extended use.
The adapter is threaded 5/8-24, making it compatible with most .308-pattern rifles and many other platforms. While optimized for .308/7.62 rifles, it also performs reliably on .223 platforms when used with compatible configurations.
Each adapter includes a theta shim kit, allowing precise timing and proper indexing during installation.

I purchased the.308 suppressor and adapter. Great product and very good design. I appreciate the extras that Larue folks put in the box including a Christmas card. The prices I paid are reasonable. The adapter is actually cheaper ($100) than a similar one I had ordered from another company (OSS) which was $125. Thank you for the great products.

have two other adapters for other .308 and .223 calibers - got this one for my 300 Blackout. my suppressor is still in jail awaiting my stamp.... it takes a handful of patients to get the right spacers in place to allow for the exact position placement for the adapter. None of my armor wrenched had the correct diameter required to seat the adapters. I agree with a previous reviewer in that a crow foot wrench would be a huge help getting the adapter tight with a torque wrench.

Well made, excellent machining, and shipped quickly. Definitely reduces the felt recoil of my .308 making range sessions more pleasant. I would suggest posting the thread pitch for each of the caliber options, and also provide the size crowfoot wrench that’s needed for mounting with a torque wrench.

Love the 6.5 Grendel; consistently accurate. My suppressor is also in jail so the threads have been exposed in use and now I need to order this replacement brake/adapter because I have slightly nicked the threads. Might work when I finally get to add the suppressor but not willing to take the chance. Too expensive if I damage it and too long of a wait. I support the other comments re: thread protector. I'm a buyer!

As usual with LaRue, design, fit and finish are outstanding. The brakes I have are on 7.62 and .260 barrels and they do an excellent job of reducing recoil. I would love to see LaRue offer a screw-on thread-protector for these brakes, someday.
