LaRue RAT™ Stock
The LaRue RAT™ Stock is a rugged, precision-engineered adjustable stock designed for AR-15 rifles using Mil-Spec receiver extensions. Built with simplicity and durability in mind, the RAT Stock features a unique two-stage trigger adjustment mechanism that allows shooters to easily change length of pull while maintaining solid lockup on each position.
CNC-machined internal components provide smooth operation and dependable engagement, while the snug internal fit eliminates unwanted play on the buffer tube. The result is a stable platform that enhances control and consistency.
Ambidextrous 1/4" QD swivel sockets and 1" sling slots provide flexible sling attachment options, and the locking rear buttplate opens to reveal internal storage compartments designed to hold cleaning kit components.

This is an outstanding stock. It works on everything! I've got one in service with an AK47 and of course on both of my PredatOBR's and my wife and I love it. The cheek weld is perfect on each rifle and I will definitely buy more of these in the future. You also cant beat having a cleaning kit built into the stock. By the way, removing it is a breeze as well, just rotate the selector at the front of the stock, pull the trigger and its off! Besides, who else has an operator manual with their stock? No one! Go Larue, you will never look back.

Excellent kit and design, obviously works seamlessly with the LaRue RAT stock. Will buy again when I do my .308 build.

This stock is a perfect mate to the 14.5" PredatOBR in 7.62. There is no slop on the tube that they had on the rifle, and the simplistic design is second to none. I love having the cleaning rods in the stock for those times you are shooting crap .308 ammo and get a stuck case. I love how easily the stock is to adjust and take off the tube and then quickly lock it back on. Cheek weld feels great, I couldn't be more satisfied with the product.

Great tight fitting stock. Had no issue with install with the usual LaRue attention to detail.

The construction and fit of the stock are flawless. This stock offers a lot of value compared to similar style stocks. My only gripe is the fact that the storage compartments are geared towards the LaRue cleaning rods; would prefer to have battery storage instead.

Solid. I can't stand the original M4 type collapsible stock, so I tend towards enhanced stocks. I have used the ergo 93 and it's a good solid unit. But it's a bit bulky and heavy so for my next build I was seriously considering getting one of these and the holiday polymer sale sealed the deal. I got the complete kit including buffer, tube and spring to avoid the compatibility concerns that many reviewers here seem to have. It's much lighter than the 93 but feels just as solid with metal to metal lockup. Still haven't quite figured out the storage system yet. But I really like it, I would recommend it to any of my friends building ARs, but they tend to favor older stuff.

Replaced my MOE with it... works well. The fit is definitely a lot tighter than the MOE, but not movement-free. Still, a good upgrade.

Top Notch in every respect. This is the tightest fitting stock, on the market today. Wobble and side to side play is virtually non existent. Thank you LaRue for another outstanding. product.

I have shot many AR rifles with a number of stocks. Most lack any check area and strength when you really bear down with your hold and pushing your check into the stock. the LaRue's Rat stock gives you both. Not to mention the trigger release. Its so much easier to manipulate in either direction. And you have the "Cool" rods inside. Have a malfunction on the range, in the field. The key tool you need is in the stock. Bad A$$!
