LaRue RAT™ Stock
The LaRue RAT™ Stock is a rugged, precision-engineered adjustable stock designed for AR-15 rifles using Mil-Spec receiver extensions. Built with simplicity and durability in mind, the RAT Stock features a unique two-stage trigger adjustment mechanism that allows shooters to easily change length of pull while maintaining solid lockup on each position.
CNC-machined internal components provide smooth operation and dependable engagement, while the snug internal fit eliminates unwanted play on the buffer tube. The result is a stable platform that enhances control and consistency.
Ambidextrous 1/4" QD swivel sockets and 1" sling slots provide flexible sling attachment options, and the locking rear buttplate opens to reveal internal storage compartments designed to hold cleaning kit components.

I got this stock before reading any reviews. After reading some of the negative stuff I have to say, I was a bit unnerved. Well it came yesterday and I slid it on to my mil-spec BCM buffer tube. It's just a tiny bit loose but not enough that it may cause me to miss a target, not even a little. When I say tiny, I mean tiny. As far as I'm concerned this stock is just as high quality as the other things I've purchased from LaRue. Great stock guys. I'm loving the scope mounts I got from you guys too. If you're a new shopper at LaRue let me tell you, you can't go wrong here. Thanks for the hard work you guys. I can tell you take pride in your work.

Great stock! I originally looked into Larue because I got a pistol grip from them after it was recommend by a friend of mine. Upon seeing the RAT stock, I knew I had to have it, just because it looked so different. When I got it, I was very pleased. It is super solid. You can't beat it, especially for the price. It feels a thousand times more solid than any Magpul, even their stocks that are near $100. There is no play or wiggle on my buffer tube once it was installed, whatsoever. I think those that have play in theirs likely just have a cheap tube. Will definitely be going to Larue for more of my AR needs!

I have used this stock on the past 4 custom AR builds for clients. You can't beat it for the price and quality. I have received no complaints back from clients. It does have some play, but very minor.

Quite pleased with the Rat Stock for my build. Excellent workmanship and design. I like the cleaning rod storage in the butt. Much easier to adjust than other comparable models. With the discount, it is an extremely good buy.

I haven't yet had the opportunIty to put it through abusive trials of any kind, but compared to past stocks I've used, this one is in a tier of its own. -It's as solid as a dead man's alibi. Looks heavy, feels sturdy, moves sturdy. Weighs nothing. -Fits a mil-spec tube I bought cheap. Fits so tightly, I wasn't sure if I would get it mounted at first. Takes firm pressure to adjust, which I prefer. Zero play in any direction, at any length. -Hidden cleaning rod kit is awesome & worth the $25, without question. -Buttpad pinlocks itself seamlessly tight, but takes less than 5 seconds to access rod holders, and half that to put it all back. I could go on, but you should just get one. I'll update as it's used, but I see no room for disappointment. There's one small thing I'm going to pay attention to, how the internal rods of the release trigger interact, as it's used. I haven't dismantled it, & don't know if any sharper edges grind other pins/rods. I can't imagine so, but a dab of dry lubricant would make it smooth for years. Buy this. You'll not regret it.
