LaRue RAT™ Stock
The LaRue RAT™ Stock is a rugged, precision-engineered adjustable stock designed for AR-15 rifles using Mil-Spec receiver extensions. Built with simplicity and durability in mind, the RAT Stock features a unique two-stage trigger adjustment mechanism that allows shooters to easily change length of pull while maintaining solid lockup on each position.
CNC-machined internal components provide smooth operation and dependable engagement, while the snug internal fit eliminates unwanted play on the buffer tube. The result is a stable platform that enhances control and consistency.
Ambidextrous 1/4" QD swivel sockets and 1" sling slots provide flexible sling attachment options, and the locking rear buttplate opens to reveal internal storage compartments designed to hold cleaning kit components.

I installed this on the tube that came with my lower, as the (OE) stock was very loose. This one is tight, I mean almost impossible to install tight. I put some extremely fine sandpaper around a broom handle and took just a bit of the tolerance out of the RAT. Worked perfectly. This sits tight on the tube, doesn’t catch hair from my beard, and has a really cool trigger system for adjustment. Add in a cleaning rod (no attachments) and this thing is far superior to what came stock.

I bought this stock based off positive reviews and the unique features. Sure nuff, this thing is awesome and is gonna be a keeper. The quality far exceeds the price. It's all in the details...I realize it's just a stock but short of some PRS stocks this thing has some great engineering.

These stocks are great. I have not had a problem with pulling mustache or beard hair. The comfort, quality and features far exceed the price point. I'm putting these on most of my AR's from now on.

I prefer this stock over magpul, better lock up and tighter around the tube not to mention carrying the cleaning rods allows the rest of my cleaning supplies in a small pouch. Makes it serviceable anywhere. Which may become needed in our near future.

Favorite AR stock on the market. Fit’s great on mil spec carbine receiver extension. Operates like no other - so easy and intuitive. Very little movement/wiggle. Good cheek weld ability. Quiet, quieter than many other types. Like the longer distance from heel to toe, allows greater shoulder positioning.
