LaRue RAT™ Stock
The LaRue RAT™ Stock is a rugged, precision-engineered adjustable stock designed for AR-15 rifles using Mil-Spec receiver extensions. Built with simplicity and durability in mind, the RAT Stock features a unique two-stage trigger adjustment mechanism that allows shooters to easily change length of pull while maintaining solid lockup on each position.
CNC-machined internal components provide smooth operation and dependable engagement, while the snug internal fit eliminates unwanted play on the buffer tube. The result is a stable platform that enhances control and consistency.
Ambidextrous 1/4" QD swivel sockets and 1" sling slots provide flexible sling attachment options, and the locking rear buttplate opens to reveal internal storage compartments designed to hold cleaning kit components.

Easily the best carbine stock out there for the money, or for under $100 for that matter. Rock solid, easy to adjust, heavy duty and comfortable.

At $39 the Rat Stock is a no brainer. This is an up grade , solid, no rattle, good cheek weld and good looking. C/S was fast and friendly.

I really like the stock and at the sale price I think it's an excellent deal. The "trigger" was a little rough at first, but it smoothed out with 30-40 pulls. I did have one problem. When the stock arrived it was nearly impossible to remove the butt plate to access the storage compartment. The catch worked fine, but the butt plate just wouldn't move. A team of mules couldn't have budged that thing. I finally put it in a vise and used my composite faced hammer to get it started. Problem turned out to be the rails on the stock that go into the grooves on the butt plate. They were too wide for the grooves. It took.maybe 80 strokes with a fine needle file on each side to make the storage compartment usable. It's still plenty tight, but workable now. On the.plus side, the effort I put into getting the butt plate off was a testament to how sturdy the stock is nothing was marred or damaged in the process. To be fair, Larue would probably have replaced the stock if I had asked, but it arrived on a Saturday and patience isn't my strong suit.

Best stock I've owned, best made one out there. No wiggle it fights tight, and love the storage space as well and the lockout button. Recommend this to everyone, thanks larue for the fast shipping as well.
