LaRue RAT™ Stock
The LaRue RAT™ Stock is a rugged, precision-engineered adjustable stock designed for AR-15 rifles using Mil-Spec receiver extensions. Built with simplicity and durability in mind, the RAT Stock features a unique two-stage trigger adjustment mechanism that allows shooters to easily change length of pull while maintaining solid lockup on each position.
CNC-machined internal components provide smooth operation and dependable engagement, while the snug internal fit eliminates unwanted play on the buffer tube. The result is a stable platform that enhances control and consistency.
Ambidextrous 1/4" QD swivel sockets and 1" sling slots provide flexible sling attachment options, and the locking rear buttplate opens to reveal internal storage compartments designed to hold cleaning kit components.

Great fit and construction. I really like this stock. The trigger for the adjustment on my stock is extremely hard to move. This makes adjustment very difficult, I have to really pull hard on the trigger to get it to move over the spring loaded pin. Maybe it will eventually break in a bit, but that is my only complaint about this stock. At this price point, you really can't go wrong!

I have broken VLTOR Clubfoot, waffle M4, and Colt Fiberlite (though very tough for their size) stocks, especially in the cold. The polymer on the LaRue RAT seems to be made from a higher grade than any of the other polymers on the market, including LMT SOPMOD and any of the Magpul stocks. They are great stocks, but the RAT is just built tougher. It fits very snugly to the LaRue Receiver Extension Tube and Mil-Spec tubes that I have. I first thought I would toss the one that came with my Stealth 2.0 rifle, but after trying it out, I liked it so much that I replaced the B5 SOPMOD on one of my other rifles. It’s the most substantial-feeling telescoping polymer AR-15/AR-10 stock on the market hands-down. The internal feature of the cleaning rod section modules is just icing on the cake if you always want a solution for having a cleaning rod with zero external profile added to the gun.

put one on my 260 a couple years ago. this is my second stock from larue. fit the receiver extension snug, exellent cheek weld. easy to adjust

Well made, fit and finish are top drawer. Exacting tolerance match with the LaRue extension. Nice touch having the cleaning rod compartment. Almost like a Garand stock butt but missing the wood!

I waited a few weeks for the full combo kit without any updates. While its a great price, I was a little surprised that it does have a little wiggle. No dildo dust to boot.

Replaced my Magpul milspec with this and had to purchase a couple more. The price of this is a steal !! Very high quality and I have no idea how it cost less than the Magpul ... but LaRue and their attention to detail in accessories has changed me from MagPul to larue everything
