Designed for MIL-STD-1913 rails, IndexClips make it easy to mark and repeat accessory positions for optics, lights, lasers, and other rail-mounted equipment. They also help protect exposed rail sections while adding a non-slip surface for a more secure, comfortable grip.
Each 72-piece set includes 60 standard clips and 12 cable-management pieces designed to route and secure tapeswitch wires along the rail. I use these for night time index .for clipping my scope in the correct slot as well as my clip on thermal or nightvision . Works great for me in a no light situation

These clips stay on. I have tried many different quad rail covers and they all seem to come off when its hot out. These stay on period. I had to heat up the clips with a hair dryer to install.

These index clips gives you the versatility to change your accessories around any way you want, and still keep a clean look to your weapon. They are not difficult to install, just clip one end to your Picatinny, press down on the clip in the center and it will snap in place. They fit tightly and don't move around. The Dillo tool does make removal of the clips much easier. These clips are well worth it.

Hard plastic vs rubberized texture of ergo covers. They also add more thickness than the ergo's. On the plus side they would attach individually and cover the entire rail provided you buy enough. I only ended up using the keepers for retaining my light switch cord which worked great for that application. Even if you use them for indexing your scope/red dot they won't mount flush leaving zero gap due to their width. You end up with half a section of rail unprotected/covered on each side. No regrets since I got them on sale and the price paid is worth it just to cover/secure my light cord. If it wasn't for that I'd prefer other alternatives. Shipping and service was excellent as usual.

Very happy with these rail covers. They snapped on well on to the quad rail. Removal is easy with a multi-tool/ flat head screw driver. These rail covers give my rifle a clean and professional look.
