I got this grip for my MaTen. It fits real nice, and meshes well with the receiver. I really like the shape of the grip, I got the rough texture. Which is not that rough, but does the job very well. I personally would like it rougher, but it works just fine for my needs. I'd definitely buy again for a precision style build, but not for a defense style rifle.

the grip is excellent once I managed to get it on. I had a few issues with installation on my standard dpms lr-308. It didn't quite fit in and I had to dremel out quite a bit of material to get it to snug up. To be honest a dremel would be an over statement. I got a metal paint can opener, heated the tip up with a propane torch till it was cherry red and delicately melted the excess plastic/polymer out of the way until the fit was perfect. Took all of 5 minutes and it snugged up perfectly. The grip is very solid now and fits my hand 300 times better than the original factory grip. FYI I had to do the same thing for the ar-15 version trying to match it up to my cmmg lower. Maybe these grips are meant for a different model of gun?

This thing is awesome! Get the rough texture, it is the perfect amount of texture. It doesn't rip your hand up but still gives your hand a nice purchase on it. The thing that I don't see a lot of people saying though is that it puts your finger in the perfect position on the trigger face. Nicely done LT

Just got this grip in today, and I must say that it's pretty awesome! It feels great and fits perfectly with my Noveske lower (If only you guys still sold stripped lowers, hint, hint). The only thing that sucked was the adverse weather conditions down there which delayed the delivery quite a bit. It took about 17 days to finally have it arrive, but I won't hold LaRue responsible for that. LaRue also sent with it some free gifts, because of the holidays, and that was really cool! I'll definitely be using that bottle opener and pasting those stickers up! Thanks, LaRue!

Awesome grip, came stock on my OBR. Wish it had a cap on the bottom so I could store things in it, but aside from that it's perfect. I have slightly larger than normal hands, it feels great.

Ordered the AR-10 grip in black for a LR-308 receiver. It's not a bad hard plastic grip it just doesn't fit the rifle. The rear of the grip bottoms out on the receiver. I wish I would have known this before ordering now I'll have to spend my time filing, sanding and fitting the grip to my rifle or throw the grip in the trash. I have an ergo on the rifle at the moment which fits perfect.

i just put my grip on and put it to the test. With that being said it passed with a 10 out of 10. it formed to MY hand and was not to long not to short. i was shooting all day, running around, and changing shooting positions. The grip kept my wrist straight allowing me to stay comfortable with the rifle in and out my shoulder, without any cramps, and most of us know that being comfortable is key to being accurate. having been in the Infantry for 5 years and owning several AR's of my own i have had the chance to try many different types of pistol grips from fancy sniper grips to standard grips and everything in-between. The LaRues have toped it with the LaRue a-peg grip. For the price you will get one of the best, most versatile, grip on the market. Thank you LaRue
