I bought the black, smooth finish, for the AR-15. The positive. Finish has the perfect amount of grip. Shape and width are hands down the best I've used (I have medium to large hands). Hads solid feel (I'm not a fan of Hogue style grips) The neutral. Fit the receiver extremely tight, required fair amount of force to get on. The negative. The finish of the product was subpar, the black plastic is cloudy and has a cheap look that reminds me of the old tapco stock I had for an sks. This is strictly a cosmetic issue and doesn't take away from the functionality of the grip. Never the less its mildly disappointing and the reason I knocked it down to 4 out 5.

Get a grip Larue!!! They did. The shape of this grip fits my hand perfectly. The texturing provides a good nonslip surface and it looks cool. For me the grip provides a better position of my finger on the trigger. Installed it in a couple of minutes without issue. Will probably buy a few more for my other AR's. Good price and value for the money. Definitely recommend. Another typical quality Larue product, show offs!!!

I have a number of AR rifles and each one has a different pistol grip. The latest (an AR .308 build) has the Larue grip. This grip is much more comfortable than any of the other grips I have. I think this is due primarily to the flat back strap and the fact that it is wider at the bottom than at the top (not a lot but it makes my hand feel more secure on the grip). I don't know yet if I'm going to go to the trouble of changing my other pistol grips over but I do know that future builds will utilize this grip.

Not much that hasn't already been said ... A well-contoured, good-feeling grip that lends control to the rifle's handling. Far more hand-filling than GI AR grips, but not so big that my stubby fingers couldn't easily grasp the grip and reach the trigger. The "rough" texture is a very good surface, but be aware that's it's a harder material, similar to the GI grips -- this isn't a soft, "rubber"-coated piece. I got the "AR10" version, and it fit perfectly on a DPMS-style .308 lower. And, the foliage color matched my Magpul PRS buttstock, if that's important to you. They must have nailed this one, 'cause it does everything it's supposed to do, and I can't think of a single improvement to suggest.

Winner winner, Chicken dinner! This grip is a vast improvement over the standard S&W M&P grip. I would buy again for a future AR build.
