AWESOME GRIP! I gave it 3 stars because it's just a LITTLE too large (I have small hands), perfect shape though. I selected rough texture and instead of rough it was SHARP! After sanding the grip it went from sharp to rough. WHEN I WAS DONE THE GRIP I MADE WAS WORTHY OF 4 STARS. NOTE: Don't let this review discourage you from buying this grip or selecting "rough" it's perfect for ALL SHOOTERS! The larger grip still fits small hands, the rough texture only needs SLIGHT modification and for those that use a shooting glove the spikes are perfect.

Like all other things Larue makes. They go the extra mile to make the best.

From time to time I try my hand at creating products for the firearms industry. I once took some modelling clay and made myself a prototype AR grip, carefully squeezing and molding the clay so it would naturally fit the human hand. LaRue must have done the same thing, cuz this grip is ergonomically perfect. If I was going to nitpick, I'd say the beavertail didn't quite snug up tightly to my receiver, has just a little bit of a gap. This could be improved. Got an FDE. Gonna also get two in black — but am waiting for those sweet LaRue triggers to go on sale to snag at the same time. This grip looks cool. Fits like a glove. Everything an AR grip should be. Finally!

I saw the APEG on a gunsmith friends rifle and asked him what it was. So I ordered a couple. These are by far THE BEST grip I've ever used. Quality, yes. But the feel and shape is perfect for the human hand. Putting them on all my AR's. So far I've purchased 4. Buy the APEG, and call it a day.

I love the way this grip feels compared to the others I have used!!! Wished the od green I ordered matched the od green on the magpul stock I ordered at the same time from larue a little bit better.

Absolutely the most comfortable and stable grip I've owned. The engineering put into the ergonomics are amazing! I have fairly large hands the palm swell depth and angle are an excellent fit for my hand, but it is also very comfortable for my wife's much smaller hands. The texture provides sure and secure purchase even at an outdoor range on a hot Texas summer day, These will from here on out be my "goto" grip, I really wish I had tried these before I dropped 80$ on an H&K grip (hell knowing what I know now I would have been willing to pay twice the purchase price for this one) Thank you very much for a spectacular product!

Best grip I've ever used in over 24 years of AR-15 and AR-10 use. When you're absolutely dragging and beat, the grip's sandpaper texture helps ensure solid control of your weapon. Switching over ALL my AR's to this and buying them as "stocking stuffers" to my battle buddies.

The only grip I'll ever have on my AR's.

Absolutely fantastic grip for a great price. The only thing I didn't like was the 20 minutes of filing I had to do to get the grip to fit. Still, great grip. The rough model is pretty much 10 grit sandpaper on your hands, so you definately won't worry about losing your grip.
