LaRue Tactical A-PEG Grip
The LaRue Tactical A-PEG™ Grip is designed to deliver improved control, comfort, and consistency. Developed with input from precision shooters, the A-PEG features ambidextrous ergonomics, a natural grip angle, and textured side panels that enhance control in all shooting conditions.
Inspired by the natural geometry of the human hand, the A-PEG includes flat indexing surfaces and sculpted palm swells that promote a stable grip and help square the rifle to the target. Its A2 footprint ensures compatibility with most AR-15 style grip interfaces.
Available in Regular (for 5.56 receivers) and Extended (for 7.62 receivers) versions, the A-PEG offers improved fit and comfort across multiple rifle platforms.

Great grip and great feel. I couldn't find any reason not to like it. worked great with my Milspec lower and would definitely purchase another.

Does not fit my Armalite AR-10 A. I had to dremel out the inside and make it wider. I used the areas on the inside that were gouged from trying to fit it on the receiver. Once I used a grinding stone and dremelled out the excess, it still was too tight. So I ground a little more, then screwed it in hard, for a tight fit. But since it is hard plastic, the rear takedown pin spring has no guide on the grip and slips on the slick shiny grip face as you are fitting it in, so be careful not to mush your spring. Once it's in, it fits, but damn!! Just get an Ergo tactical grip and be done with it. Unless you have a Dremel tool and want to take a trip to Ace Hardware for the correct, narrow grinding bit. I'll pay the extra $20.00 next time, as Ergo grip is perfect.

WOW... Let me say up front that I am a fan of various LT products. The previous reviews suggested that I would be very satisfied. For $9.99 (Sale), I thought how could I go wrong but because of the low cost I was still a bit skeptical. If I didn't like it, it certainly didn't break the bank and I could just order another brand. Needless to say but I'm saying it anyway...the APEG exceeded my expectations and is a fantastic grip. It feels like a custom grip and feels better than most other grips I have tried. The palm swells fit my large hands and my wife's small hands as well. So I ordered two more APEGs from LT. (1x for my wife's new build and 1x for a "build to be named later"). Unfortunately, they immediately went back-ordered for about a week or two. (I wish LT website was a bit more accurate regarding product status) FYI.... I bought the Missouri Tactical Products LLC A2 Grip Plug for this grip and it is a perfect fit and enables interior storage.

This is by far the most comfortable grip I have on any of my rifles!

Excellent grip. For $10 all the complaints I've got are MINOR. Ergonomics compare favorably with the $40 Ergo Tactical Deluxe model (with our without the palm shelf). I DO wish it were overnolded--it would be perfect--but the coarse texture is a decent compromise. No, there's no storage compartment in the bottom, but to be honest, I've never actually used the ones that have them, so to me, no big loss. The grip fits very TIGHTLY, so be prepared to break out your mallet and gently (or forcibly) tap it into place. Again, $10!!!!!! If I had to screw around with anything more than a screwdriver or Allen wrench on a $40-50 grip I'd be upset. However, this is ONLY $10!!!!!! On the up side, once it's on, that sucker ain't EVER coming off! On the down side, once it's on, that sucker ain't EVER coming off! Well, it WILL, but it takes some creativity and unconventional use of your brass punches, or just your mallet if you're skillful enough. Just try to remember to install your safety detent and spring and get them in straight the first time! And for Pete's sake, get your trigger on under that safety the first time too!!!! It will save a LOT of hassle ;) The 308 model does NOT/NOT fit the Aero M5 or Noreen Billet lowers without the assistance of files and/or a Dremel. It's a hassle, but the grip IS only $10, and the larger size does seem more at home than the base model Ergo or any regular size Magpul grip. Choose your poison. It's $10, some filling/grinding, and XXFine grit sanding; or a $40-50 larger Ergo grip, a $40 Magpul 308 MIAD (if they still make them), or something else I haven't yet tried. I've tried a LOT of grips over the years--MOE, MOE-K, MIAD, Daniel's Defense, three different Ergo grips, UTG hard plastic, UTG overmolded, JBE, B5, mil spec, some generic ones I found on discount sites, and probably a few others I can't recall. Seriously, for $10 and a couple extra minutes on your install, you get one of the nicest feeling, sturdiest, and best looking grips out there. It's worth it to me. For me, it's a toss up between these and the Ergo Tactical Deluxe. If I have the extra coin, I might buy the Ergo, but I NEVER feel my gun is underdressed wearing the LaRue grip. I also have four kids to build for, so the LaRue fits my budget more often than not. Buy this grip. Drop the Hamilton, tap it into place, and see for yourself. I guarantee, $10 won't buy you a nicer grip. Heck, $20-30 will have a hard time finding something competitive. Trust me, in this case, as with their triggers, this really IS a major deal! You're buying top-of-the-line, high-end kit. You're not settling. You actually ARE finding a true bargain!
