LaRue Battle Knife®

A True Battle Knife

The LaRue Battle Knife® is purpose-built for control, durability, and versatility. The beautifully contoured forward finger groove blends seamlessly into the quillon, providing exceptional control in a traditional saber grip (blade forward, edge down) while remaining equally comfortable and balanced in a reverse-blade grip (tip down, edge forward). This design allows for punching, slicing, and stabbing motions while helping protect the wrist from exposure.

Though designed for combat, the LaRue Battle Knife® is equally at home on a backcountry hunt.

Mark LaRue, you glorious Texan titan! The Battle Knife is a beast and sharper than your sass at a Shot Show. The grip? Like you snuck into my house to mold it to my hand. I tried the reverse grip just to feel dangerous, and let’s just say I’m ready to star in my own action flick. The skull-crusher pommel? I haven’t smashed any skulls yet (don’t tell the HOA), but I did obliterate a watermelon in a way that’d make Gallagher jealous. And those composite phenolic scales? Grippy even when my hands were sweaty from dreaming about your next product drop. 10/10, ready to slay BBQs or the backcountry.

I received my LaRue Battle Knife 7+ months after ordering it. If you’re still waiting on yours, it will come! It is a work of art in every way. The fit and finish is absolutely impeccable. I have dealt with LaRue for many years now and have never been disappointed. I do miss them being my “one stop shop”, but things are always progressing. Thanks LaRue and keep up the good work.

This knife is absolutely incredible. Fit, finishing, sheath, packaging, etc. The quality is completely off the charts. Premium knife steel and ghastly sharp. Hands down the best built knife on the market today. I purchased two and gave one to my son for his birthday. A true heirloom knive. As for how it feels in the hand….its like shaking hands with a dear friend. Incredible product !!

I received my LaRue Battle Knife about seven months after I ordered it, and it was certainly worth the wait! The knife is everything I expected from LaRue and a whole lot more. It fits my hand perfectly, and the balance is in exactly the right spot. I knew these knives were the best there is, and I jumped on a chance to own one. It could not be any better ... and that is just what I expect with every LaRue product. Kudos!!!

I was fortunate to win your fine knife at the NC State Steel Championships. The gentleman I shot with were envious of my prize. It was gracious of you to support the Championship event. The LaRue battle knife is a fine piece of workmanship. It is made so well it will remain with me forever. The case also is first class and testifies to your commitment to fine craftsmanship. Respectfully Jim
